Kate & Matt’s Wedding

There is not much else I need to say about Kate and Matt’s wedding other than “this girl plays bass” and did so at the reception in her big white frock! In place of a traditional Father-Daugher Dance, Kate and her Daddio rocked it out with the band with her Dad on the keys (yes, keyboard).

I was super excited for Kate & Matt; not only did I go to high school with Kate, and also elementary & middle school, but we were in band together so I knew her super talents would come through. Both Kate & Matt, Mega band geeks, with a capital M (yes I can say it because I too was a band geek) are extremely musically talented and had a huge showing of other talented friends from school at the wedding. I’m pretty sure my assistant Dawn and I were the two least talented people there!

As if all this coolness wasn’t enough, we stopped at Cuneo Mansion, a personal fav, for some photo ops. It was all definitely my cup of tea!

Ciara & Pat’s Irish Engagement Session

I was totally in love with Ciara & Pat’s idea of their engagement session at McGonigal’s Pub in Barrington. Both Ciara & Pat are Irish with big Irish families, and their ceremony to will be held at a Church you can see right out of McGonigal’s windows. This pub was unlike any other I have been into. Tons of private spaces, multiple floors, and fun nooks for photos. Not to mention the amazing, brightly colored wine bar with color-changing decor. AMAZING. Can’t wait for their 2013 wedding!

Welcoming baby Akiva!

I first met baby Akiva while he was just a little bump in mommy Courtney’s tummy with soon-to-be Daddy Joel during their wedding consultation. Yes, Courtney & Joel were not only expecting their first baby, but also planning a wedding for THIS December, AND moving. When we booked their package, they opted for a newborn session in place of the engagement session which I was super excited about.

I can’t wait to see everyone at the wedding, and little Akiva in an adorable baby Tux!
